Trang obtained her Master's in Clinical Psychology from San Jose State University and has been practicing therapy for the past seven years. Trang has worked in several mental health settings including nonprofit agencies, schools, outpatient clinics, residential facilities, and hospitals providing individual, group, and family therapy. Populations she has served include children, teens, families, young adults and professionals, working professionals, and Asian-Americans. In her free time, Trang enjoys hiking, spending time with her cat, baking, and swimming in the ocean.
Trang aims to provide a safe, non-judgmental space for individuals and families to be vulnerable and find acceptance within themselves. Her approach is warm, compassionate, and authentic. Trang has extensive experience with evidence-based approaches, such as CBT and DBT, and believes in empowering clients with the knowledge and skills to make lasting positive changes in their lives. As a first-generation Asian-American, Trang also integrates the exploration of culture and family dynamics on mental health, and supports individuals in increasing their self-awareness to understand and break away from negative patterns.
